Central Park New York Engagement Session
The big city! It was my first time visiting New York, and it was truly surreal to walk the streets and gaze up at the endless sky scrapers. Of course my favorite part of New York was where most of the trees could be found- Central Park.
I met up with Hanna and Cullin at a super hip local coffee shop. It’s called Starbucks if you were wondering. From there we grabbed brunch at an acutal local cafe and were off on our adventure from there. Once you meet Hanna and Cullin, you quickly become their biggest fan. Their love for one another is hard to miss, so they made my job easy ;).
We started the day off in Central Park where we found little pockets of this incredible place to take photos. Between photos, we found ourselves people watching, laughing, and grabbing popsicles of course.
We headed to the subway to make our way to Hanna and Cullin’s favorite neighborhood. They shared with me memories that this neighborhood held for them, and pretty soon I too was swooning over the brick buildings and charm of this pocket of town. Cullin talked all about his favorite coffee shop and with the help of google maps and his memory, we found our way into a true hidden gem. We were quickly greeted with a warm smile, and after ordering our coffee, the barista noticed my camera and soon discovered Hanna and Cullin were recently engaged and I was taking their engagement photos. This quickly caught the attention of the cafe, and before I knew it Hanna and Cullin had were sharing their love story with the entire cafe, including the owner. (I wasn’t kidding earlier when I said you’d become their biggest fan).
Hanna & Cullin-
Thank you for taking the day to adventure with me. For showing me a part of your world and making me feel like a real New Yorker. I wish you both nothing but the best, and I cannot wait for all the adventures that your future holds!
