We really think you should.
Five reasons why you’ll fall in love with Kauaʻi:
Why get married here?
You Can Count On Us:
Like which beaches give you the best chance of spotting a sea turtle, which trails will allow you to bring your pup (not to mention how to bring a dog to Hawaii), or even where to grab the best ramen in town the day after your elopement.
We’re also deeply committed to working alongside locally-owned businesses, and encouraging our clients to embrace native Hawaiian culture during their stay.
As your Kauaʻi elopement photographer, we’re there to support you through the entire wedding-planning journey—and then keep spirits high on your wedding day itself.
The Between the Pine team has been photographing elopements in Kauaʻi since 2018, which means we know a thing or two.
Kauaʻi happens to be our home away from home
Why between the pine?
Recommend the perfect location for you, your partner & your guests, even if you’ve never once set foot in Kauaʻi
Have backup plans on top of backup plans (in case Mother Nature is having a moment)
Walk you through how to apply for a Hawaiian marriage license—and a permit if you’re getting married on public lands
Point out where to pull over for a shave ice (or poké) on a long day
Respect native Hawaiian land and customs, and connect you with locals who can help you infuse Hawaiian culture into your wedding, should you want to
While we’re most knowledgeable about Kauaʻi, when it comes to adventure elopements, we take a “yes, and” approach.
In other words: yes, we’ll photograph your elopement on the Big Island, and what if you had your ceremony overlooking a 120-foot waterfall?
P.S. We’ve also done some elopements in Maui—like this traditional wedding ceremony on the beach, which came after an epic hike through the mountains and a few Mai Tais.
We have our hearts set on another island. Can we still book Between the Pine?
What about the rest of Hawaii?
We know a few places…
Oh, and like we said above, there’s no wrong season to elope in Kauaʻi—just know that it gets busier from March to September.
