So you’re excited to start planning your best day ever, and you’re trying to decide which elopement photography package is right for you. Don’t worry, friend, we’ve got you! And if you’re thinking about working with us? Heck yes, we’re so stoked!
After photographing hundreds of elopements across the Pacific Northwest and Kauai, we’ve learned what couples really value when choosing their elopement package. And we’ve designed our packages with those values and experiences in mind.
Some couples thrive with a one-day experience that packs everything into sunrise-to-sunset magic. Others benefit from spreading their celebration across two days, giving them more breathing room, multiple locations, and time to just soak it all in.
There’s no wrong choice here (seriously!). It’s all about what fits your style, your priorities, and the kind of experience you’re dreaming of. In this guide, we’re breaking down exactly what’s included in each of our elopement wedding packages, sharing real examples from couples we’ve worked with, and suggestions to help you figure out which option feels right for you.

Now, let’s get to the good stuff. Ready to see what makes each package different?

What’s Included in Our Single Day Elopement Photography Package?
Our single-day packages (both Full-Day and Sunrise-to-Sunset) give you comprehensive coverage of your elopement day from start to finish. You’re getting professional photography for 8-10 hours, which is plenty of time to have your ceremony, explore two incredible locations, take portraits, and celebrate with your people (if you’re including guests).
What this looks like in action:
You might start your day getting ready at your Airbnb, head into the mountains for a sunrise ceremony just the two of you, then come back down to a lower elevation spot for a mid-morning celebration with your families. Or you could do a midday ceremony at an alpine lake, then adventure to a waterfall location for sunset portraits.
The beauty of our one-day packages is the flexibility they offer. Because our packages start at 8 hours, we don’t just document your ceremony. Instead, we work with you to create an elopement plan that feels natural and gives you time to actually experience your day (not just rush through it for photos).
Who a one-day package is best for:
Couples who want a full adventure elopement experience but prefer to keep everything contained to one day. Maybe you’re on a tighter budget, or you have guests traveling from out of town who can only be there for one day. Maybe you just love the idea of packing all that magic into one epic day and then being able to fully relax afterward. No matter what the reason is, a full day elopement package is where the adventure starts!

What’s Included in a Two-Day Elopement Photography Package?
Our two-day elopement packages give you everything from the one-day experience, but spread across two consecutive days for even more flexibility. You get coverage for two full days, access to three or more locations, and more breathing room to enjoy time with loved ones (or simply structure your elopement exactly how you want).
What this looks like in action:
Some couples do their adventure day first (think backpacking to an alpine lake, sunrise on a mountain peak, or exploring an old-growth forest), then bring in family and friends the next day for their ceremony and celebration. Others flip it and do the ceremony with guests first, then head off for a private adventure day afterward.
While you don’t need to include guests to book a two-day elopement, this package tends to work really well for micro weddings where you’re including 20-30 guests. Day one can be your welcome gathering or rehearsal dinner, and day two is the ceremony and reception. With the celebration spread out over two days, you don’t have to try to cram adventure and wedding moments into a single day. Instead, you get more time to be present and enjoy it with your favorite people.
Who a two-day package is best for:
Couples who want more time, more locations, and less stress. Maybe you have so many ideas of how you want to celebrate, but are finding it hard to narrow things down. Or maybe you want a small wedding with loved ones, but you also want time for just you and your partner. With our two-day elopement wedding package, you can have both!

What’s Included in The Summit Elopement Package?
Our Summit Package is for couples who want the full all-inclusive elopement experience. You get three full days of coverage (which you can use on weekends or weekdays), and you can include up to 50 guests. This is the only package we offer that has weekend availability or a guest count this large, so this package really allows for maximum flexibility.
What this looks like in action:
Day one might be a welcome gathering where you take guests on an excursion or host a rehearsal dinner at your cabin. Day two is your ceremony and reception at a beautiful micro wedding venue. And day three is your private adventure day, where you celebrate your marriage by visiting that bucket-list location you’ve been dreaming about.
Or maybe you structure it completely differently! Some couples do their backpacking adventure on day one, their family ceremony on day two, and a relaxed brunch send-off on day three. The Summit Package is all about having the flexibility to create an experience that’s completely yours.
Who The Summit package is best for:
Couples planning a larger micro wedding (think 30-50 guests) who want to give their people a full weekend experience. Or couples who are combining their elopement with a destination adventure and want coverage for multiple activities. Or honestly, anyone who just wants three days of being stoked, celebrating, and adventuring in the mountains.

How to Choose Which Elopement Photography Package is Right for You
We know all these options can feel overwhelming, so here are some questions to ask yourself if you need help deciding which photography package is right for you:
How many guests are you including?
Are you planning to elope with just the two of you or with under 10 guests? A one-day package will likely give you everything you need. If your guest count includes 15-30 loved ones, a two-day package will give you way more flexibility (and time with everyone you love). And if your guest count is on the larger side (30-50 guests) or you are planning a full weekend celebration, then the Summit Package is your friend.
What does your ideal timeline feel like?
Do you love the idea of one epic, packed adventure day? Or do you want space to slow down, explore multiple locations without rushing, and have time for both private moments and guest celebrations? Your answer will help guide you to the right choice for you.
Something else to think about is how much breathing room you want built in. Some couples thrive on that packed, adventurous energy of fitting everything into one day. Others need space between activities to decompress, change outfits, eat full meals, and not feel rushed. Neither is better! It’s just about knowing yourself and what will feel best for you that day.
What locations are you dreaming of?
If you’re set on one or two specific spots, a one-day package works great. If you have a whole list of places you want to experience (and we don’t blame you – there are LOTS of stunning places to visit!), you may want the flexibility that comes with a multi-day wedding.
What’s your budget?
Of course, your budget also plays a part in which photography package you choose. When you first start planning, be honest about what you’re willing to spend. Your wedding is a time to celebrate and splurge, but it’s also not the time to break the bank. Generally speaking, one-day packages are more budget-friendly while still giving you that full adventure elopement experience. If you have more flexibility in your budget and want to prioritize time and experiences, the two-day or Summit packages might be worth it.

Common Misconceptions About Elopement Packages
Elopements can come with their fair share of misconceptions (and rightfully so – they’ve changed a lot over the years). But there are a few things we’d like to set the record straight about. Here are some common myths about elopement packages:
“Two-day packages are only for super adventurous couples.”
Yes, two-day packages can be a great fit for couples who want to backpack into the mountains or explore multiple remote locations. But they’re also perfect for couples who just want more time with their families, or those who want to split their elopement between a private ceremony and a gathering with friends. Adventure can mean different things to different people. It doesn’t just have to mean hiking for miles or across multiple days; it can also mean getting married in a natural setting, no hike required.
“One-day packages feel too rushed.”
Not true! Our one-day packages offer full coverage for 8-10 hours. That’s a LOT of time. With good planning (which we help with!), you can have a sunrise ceremony, a midday celebratory meal with family, an adventure to a second location, and still have time for sunset portraits. It just comes down to planning your timeline in a way that flows well for you.
“Elopement packages are just for the photos.”
Actually, our packages include way more than just photography! From the moment you inquire and book us, we help with things like timeline planning, location scouting, permit information (and yes, we can help you navigate the permit process for places that require them), and vendor recommendations. We’re here to support you through the whole process, not just show up on the day to take photos.

Elopement Packages in Action: Real Day Examples From Our Couples
We know it can be helpful to see what other couples have planned for their wedding. So, we’ve rounded up a list to show how some of our past couples have celebrated. Of course, you can adjust your package to fit whatever you want your day to look like, but we hope these examples help give you a starting idea of what’s possible.
Sunrise-to-Sunset Elopement Photography Package: Ha & Patrick’s Mount Rainier Wedding

Ha and Patrick chose our Sunrise-to-Sunset package for their Mount Rainier wedding. They started their day at their A-frame cabin in Packwood, writing their vows with their adorable pup of honor by their side, then headed into the national park to meet their close friends (about 15 people total).
Everything (their ceremony, celebratory picnic meal, and sunset portraits) took place at Sunrise, which meant they got to spend way more time with their loved ones instead of driving around to different spots. The Sunrise-to-Sunset package gave them plenty of time for getting ready, a meaningful ceremony with their people, a relaxed celebratory meal, and those magic sunset portraits without ever feeling rushed.
Here’s what Ha and Patrick had to say about their elopement day:
Like Mollie says, it was truly the BEST DAY EVER. She made our day feel nothing short of magical and had so many recommendations based on what we wanted our day to look like. She provided us a list of vendors that we did end up working with, including a wedding planner, florist, hair & make up artist, and caterer — together, they are a dream team. Mollie also has her network and handled things behind the scenes like having contingency plans and snacks — she really meant it when she said she’ll bring the snacks. She also set the initial timeline to work off of with our other vendors. It gave us the ability to imagine the logistics of the day, as this is our first time getting married and going through the wedding planning process.
TL;DR – Mollie is an amazing photographer and she LOVES what she does, but you also get so much more than a photographer by working with BTP. If you get the chance to work with them, you won’t regret it. Highly recommend and I won’t shut up about it 🙂
Full-Day Elopement Photography Package: Zoe & Kevin’s Forest Wedding in Washington

Zoe and Kevin chose our Full-Day package for their Mount Rainier forest wedding. They started with a sunrise hike and had a private vow ceremony in a wildflower meadow, then came back down for a ceremony with their families at a lower elevation. The Full-Day timeline gave them access to multiple locations, adventure time for just the two of them, and family time all in one day.
Here’s what these two had to say about their day:
We had a fantastic experience with Between the Pine and Megan, our photographer. She was a total expert & made our wedding day absolutely fantastic. We had to make last-minute changes because of the weather forecast, and we totally trusted her recommendations, which all turned out to be amazing. We also had a complicated timeline because we decided to do a sunrise hike as well as an intimate ceremony with our family & a lunch. Between the Pine was so helpful in helping us weigh pros/cons for decisions and ultimately craft the order of events for the day. We are so happy with our photos, and we look forward to cherishing them for years and years to come!
Two-Day Adventure Wedding Package: Sarah & Elijah’s Moab Desert Elopement

Sarah and Elijah went with a two-day elopement photography package in Moab. Day one was for their intimate ceremony with guests, and day two was all about exploring the desert and taking those jaw-dropping adventure portraits. Having a two-day structure meant they weren’t trying to fit their ceremony and private adventure into one timeline, so they could fully be present for both experiences.
Here’s what this couple had to say about their day:
Oh, where does one even begin?? I’ve been following Between the Pine on instagram and have had a big ole friend/photography crush for YEARS. Needless to say it was a giant dream come true when Devin happened to be free on the weekend of our wedding. Devin beautifully captured our small ceremony in Moab (she captured every tender moment, every sweet glance, every detail), and then took us galivanting around the desert the following day where she proceeded to take the most jaw-droppingly gorgeous photos out in the desert! Devin was so encouraging, optimistic, and kind, and she made everything feel really easy and natural. We couldn’t even care that it was drizzly, windy, freezing, and damp out — we were too busy having fun 🙂 Dream. Come. True.
Summit Package: Gabbie & Carson’s Wedding Weekend in Kauai

Gabby and Carson used our Summit Package for a three-day celebration in Kauai at Common Ground, a farm-to-table micro wedding venue on the island’s North Shore. Day one, they welcomed their guests with a private catamaran sunset tour on the Nā Pali Coast. Day two was their official wedding day with a ceremony in a eucalyptus grove surrounded by mountains, followed by a celebratory meal under string lights with all their loved ones. On day three, the couple went on their private adventure, stopping for shaved ice on the way to the beach for their sunset portraits.
Having three full days gave Gabbie and Carson space to be fully present for every moment. They got a fun group experience on the water, a meaningful ceremony with family, and their own private adventure time. Seriously, what more could you ask for?
