You still get the meaningful parts of a wedding day (getting ready, vows, celebrating with your people, and sharing a meal together), but with way more space to slow down and be present.
A lot of our couples choose micro weddings because they love the intentionality of an elopement but still want to include the people who have supported them throughout their journey (and we are all for that).

Choosing a micro wedding venue is about so much more than finding a pretty view (although we’re never going to turn down a jaw-dropping backdrop).
The best venues don’t just look beautiful; they set the stage for how your entire wedding day feels. So instead of starting with logistics, we always encourage couples to start with their preferred experience.
Consider your guest experience
Do you want everyone staying together under one roof, making breakfast in the morning, and ending the night sipping whiskey and roasting s’mores around a campfire?
Or do you prefer separate accommodations with a central space where everyone can gather for the meaningful parts of the day?
Decide how much structure you want built in
Some micro wedding venues are incredibly hands-on, with lodging, catering options, and built-in ceremony or reception spaces. Others are more flexible and DIY, like private rentals, where you bring in your own food or create the flow of the day yourselves.
Neither is better nor worse. It just comes down to how much you want to be supported versus how much freedom you want to design your experience.

Washington Micro Wedding Venues
Washington is one of those places that feels like it was made for micro weddings. Between the mountains, forests, and coastline, this state makes it possible to experience so many different landscapes in one wedding adventure. (Seriously, Washington really does show off.)
1. Après Cabin

Can we just pause to say how freaking amazing this micro wedding venue is? Tucked away in the North Cascades, Après Cabin is surrounded by mountain views and quiet forests that set the tone for an intentional celebration.
The cabin was originally designed by a couple who used it for their own elopement (so you know it’s been carefully tailored with weddings in mind).
We love this option for micro weddings because all your guests can stay and move through the day together. You can enjoy slow mornings, share relaxed meals, and enjoy the experience without needing much structure.
It’s a great fit if you want a cozy mountain base where your whole weekend can happen in one place.
2. Après Villa

Not to be confused with Après Cabin (though they are sister venues), Après Villa is another incredible option for couples looking for a luxe mountain wedding experience near Mount Rainier National Park. This villa sits on a 300 acre orchard and offers plenty of space to host a private, intimate celebration with your favorite people.
With thoughtful design, an onsite modern barn called “The Ciderhouse”, and easy access to all the adventures Mount Rainier has to offer, Après Villa is a great fit for couples who want the comfort of a private gathering space that feels like home while still being close to epic mountain landscapes.
3. Agate Beach Lodge

TreeHouse Point is a micro wedding venue where you can literally stay and celebrate between the pines (sorry, we couldn’t resist the pun).
This forest micro wedding venue is tucked into the Snoqualmie Valley and creates a really intimate atmosphere for a small group celebration.
You and your guests can stay in treehouses or nearby lodging, which makes it one of the most unique options on this list.
If you’re dreaming of something romantic, cozy, and a little magical (or simply want to live out your childhood treehouse dreams – no judgement here), this venue is a great option.
4. Rolling Huts

Rolling Huts is essentially a glamping-style micro wedding venue. Instead of sleeping in tents, you and your guests will stay in a cluster of modern, minimalist huts that sit in an open valley surrounded by mountain views.

5. Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort & Spa

8. Crook Point

Crook Point is a private coastal wedding venue where you get access to some of the most gorgeous rugged Oregon shoreline without the crowds.
You can stay on-site at one of their cabins (ranging from small to larger depending on your needs), move between private ceremony spots that give you different views of the surrounding landscape, and even explore nearby redwoods if you want to extend the adventure.
This is one of our top micro wedding venues on the Oregon Coast, especially if you want privacy and a bit of variety.

9. Loloma Lodge

12. Sheep Mountain Lodge

Sheep Mountain Lodge was made for micro weddings that want adventure in an epic landscape.
One of the coolest things about this small wedding venue is that they offer helicopter tours right on the property, so if you want to get married on a glacier, they’ll arrange everything for you. All you and your guests have to do is show up.

13. Sheldon Chalet

Sheldon Chalet is about as remote a wedding venue as it gets (you literally arrive by helicopter which is the coolest thing ever!).
Once you land, you’re completely immersed into your own private alpine world, surrounded by glacier-carved peaks and 360-degree mountain views. Even though it’s incredibly remote, the experience is designed with comfort in mind including, private chef meals, warm luxury accommodations, and guided expeditions that let you explore the surrounding landscape.
This venue is for couples who want their wedding to feel like a once-in-a-lifetime experience in one of the most dramatic, wild landscapes Alaska has to offer.
14. Between Beaches Alaska

Oh Hawaii! This tropical island (specifically Kauai) has a very special place in our hearts, and is one of those places where it is almost impossible not to slow down.

16. Alta Lakes
