Lookout Lodge Wedding
Nine years ago Brooke and Benjamin started dating and haven’t looked back since. After years together as well as years of distance, these two are truly a match for one another and that was so evident their entire wedding day.
The day started with Brooke finding a stack of letters from Benjamin, along with roses, to open throughout the day. From when she woke up, before the first look, and right before walking down the isle, Benjamin had written letters for every step of the way (uhhh brb crying!).
September 9th was nothing short of a true Pacific Northwest day. The clouds hung in the sky and could not decide if they were going to let out the rain. Luckily for us, the rain held off until the dance party. Views of the cascades could be seen from the lodge and there were pines and ferns throughout the property.
After an emotional and intimate first look, Benjamin and Brooke said their “I dos” in front of their closet friends and family. The rest of the evening was spent side-by-side as husband and wife.
What I loved most about their wedding was how their personalities were seen throughout the day in the details. Brooke carried around her Hydroflask water bottle the entire day, and threw on a flannel when the sun dipped below the mountains. When the rain started to fall, guests brought over a tent to dance under but Brook and Benjamin stayed in the rain without a care in the world.
