Waffles and Pillow Fights
After a weekend in Kansas City for a bachelorette party, I spent the afternoon with Maggie and Tyler. Maggie found Market Studio through social media and you better bet we booked this studio as soon as we discovered it. For anyone in KC, I highly recommend looking into this amazing studio for photoshoots to parties.
Okay so before we dive into the details of this epic session, I want to share a little back story with you on how I met Maggie. Rewind to freshman year of college (oh the glory days). I had just moved into my dorm and gearing up for what I thought would be the best year of my life. I was playing basketball for my dream school, feeling oh-so independent, and just assumed life as a college freshman would be as easy as pie. haha. That year did not go as planned on many levels, but Maggie was my first friend I made in college and stuck with me the entire year. She is radiant, hilarious, and like your own personal cheerleader. I truly do not know what I would have done without her by my side freshman year, so watching her with the love of her life makes me all sorts of happy. She deserves the best and Tyler is literally the best human for her so it works out.
Okay so let's talk details of this epic session. First off- look at them!! This was our second session together and the more time I spend with these two, the more I admire their love for one another. We jammed out to Chris Stapleton, made waffles, ate cookies for a snack, and ended with a pillow fight.
I have to say- when I am not in the mountains, in-home sessions are my favorite. These photos tell a story and allow others to catch a glimpse of a couple doing everyday life. If you are loving this session, check out this cozy in-home session.
After dancing in the living room, we headed to the kitchen (aka the best room in any house). And I think I said, "In the morning, I'm making waffles!!" about ten times. Can you name that quote?!
**Not pictured but very important: a snack break that consisted of rainbow sprinkle cookies.*** :)
We ended our session with a pillow fight. Nothing says "I love you" like your competitive side coming out.
