ready to start planning your own adventure elopement?

Well then heck yes you are in the right spot! This page is filled with resources from an adventure elopement checklist to the best places to elope in the Pacific Northwest. My goal is to not only be your photographer, but an endless resource to you and your honey. From connecting you with vendors that specialize in elopements (hair & makeup, planners, officiants, catering), to finding the perfect spot for those “I dos”, I will be there with you every step of the way helping you create your dream adventure elopement. So let’s do this thing!

first things first

Before we starting dreaming up your adventure elopement, I want to introduce myself a little more. Think of this as speed dating elopement photographer addition.

» Margaritas, every-time. And a side of queso.

» Would rather sleep in my 4runner in the mountains than in a fancy city hotel.

» Weekend road trip and we need to leave in 30min? Perfect I will get the snacks.

» My golden doodle has booked me more clients than I care to admit.

You can stalk me here if you want to get to know me more!

Hire an elopement team:

Not only do I know a photographer who would be stoked to adventure with you for your elopement (cough, cough), I also know planners, caterers, makeup artists, florists, and officiants that are ready to adventure, too!

Pick a date:

Elopements are commonly Monday-Thursday only. Less crowds and more privacy for your adventure elopement.

Choose a Location:

Click below for resources I’ve created on locations to elope in the Pacific Northwest. Once you have hired me, I’m an open book on specific locations within the Pacific Northwest that will be perfect for your adventure elopement!

Understand the legal side of things:

Some elopement locations require a photography permit prior to your elopement. But not to worry, this is something I take care of! On the topic of permits and legal things- let’s talk about a marriage licence! Every state is different in regard to amount of witnesses, how to apply, and how long the licence is valid for. These details are things we will talk through as we plan your elopement and if you needing a witness, I would be more than honored to sign that dotted line!

most importantly:

Have the best day ever!

 Do you reschedule for weather?

Rain or shine, we are going to make your adventure elopement one to remember. Due to my schedule being built out months in advance, I do not reschedule for weather. Not to worry though- I have experience photographing adventures in all types of weather!

I know you are a Washington based elopement photographer, but do you travel?

Heck yes I travel! My bags are packed and ready for your adventure elopement wherever that may be. You can check my travel schedule here.

What type of adventure elopement packages do you offer?

I offer three different elopement packages ranging from 4 hours of coverage all the way to an backpacking adventure elopement option. You can find more specifics on my pricing and packages here.

I am from out of state but want to elope in Washington, is this realistic?

Absolutely! I am well seasoned with helping out-of-state couples plan their destination elopement in Washington. I’ll be there to help with recommendations on where to stay, what to do, and of course all the logistics for your elopement!

How will I carry my elopement attire and flowers to the elopement location if we hike?

I will bring my mule to carry all the elopement gear up the mountain. Okay, I’m totally kidding. But I will be there to help carry any and all things up to your adventure elopement location. I will be there to tie your flowers on your pack and help you pack your elopement attire to prevent wrinkles.

I want to have an adventure elopement but hiking is not really my thing. Can we still make this happen?

Heck yes we can! All across the pacific northwest there are endless drive-up overlooks that are easily accesible as well as a few forest service road locations I have saved on my phone just waiting for you to elope at!

What is the best time of year for an adventure elopement in the Pacific Northwest?

Most of my couples prefer to elope in the summer and autumn time in the pacific northwest. During these seasons you can expect temperatures ranging from 60-80 degrees and cloudy to sunny skies.

How far in advance should I book my adventure elopement?

The sooner you reach out about your adventure elopement, the better! I commonly book 2 weeks to one year in advance.

Can you bring your dog to my adventure elopement? Actually, can I bring my own dog?

If dogs are allowed at your elopement location, you better bet I will bring the walking churro upon request and you can bring your pup, too!
