Meet the couple of this Little Owl Cabin elopement at Mt Rainier

Meet Nichole and Corey! They are from Georgia and planned their destination elopement at Mt Rainier. They booked an all-day cabin elopement package, which meant I got to begin capturing their Washington elopement day as they got ready at the Little Owl Cabin. After they got ready, they had their first look at the Little Owl Cabin and we headed to Mt Rainier National Park. Before we crossed into the famous Washington national park, we made a pit stop at Cruiser’s Pizza in Packwood (which is my favorite mountain town outside of Mt Rainier National Park and is where the Little Owl Cabin is located). Pizza in hand, we began their Mt Rainier elopement on a trail that features some of the oldest and largest pine trees in the park. We ended their Washington elopement day at a mountain overlook by an alpine lake. Nichole and Corey shared some wedding cake during an elopement picnic, and just as the sun began to set, Mt Rainier showed up from behind the clouds for an epic ending to their elopement day. From the beginning of their elopement at Little Owl Cabin to the end overlooking Mt Rainier, Nichole and Corey’s Washington destination elopement was laid-back, adventurous and totally them.

What you need to know for your Little Owl Cabin stay near Mt Rainier

The Little Owl Cabin is one of the most iconic cabins near Mt Rainier National Park. There are multiple Airbnb cabins owned and operated by Little Owl Cabin, and they are all really popular. So, if you’re wanting to plan a Little Owl Cabin elopement, plan to be flexible with your dates. The Little Owl Airbnbs are located on the southeastern side of Mt Rainier National Park, and, like I mentioned earlier, are in Packwood, WA. Keep reading to find out more about why I love Packwood so much! One important detail to keep in mind for your Little Owl Cabin elopement is that there is an additional fee for professional photos to be taken at the cabins. The fee is around $300, and it gives your elopement photographer permission to take photos in and around the cabin. What to do in Packwood during your Little Owl Cabin stay

Like I mentioned earlier, I love Packwood, WA! It’s one of my favorite mountain towns surrounding Mt Rainier, and it’s another reason why the Little Owl Cabin is such a great location for your elopement. When you’re planning your destination wedding to Mt Rainier National Park, here are some things to keep in mind about staying in Packwood. There are gas stations and a grocery store within Packwood, but there is not great cell service. So, I recommend printing off or taking screenshots of map directions from the Little Owl Cabin to the various destinations you’d want to travel to. I love to stop at Cruiser’s Pizza (like I did with Nichole and Corey!), and I highly recommend their taco pizza. I know, it sounds weird, but it’s amazing; trust me! Mountain Goat Coffee Company is a cute little coffee shop in town, and Packwood Brewing Co. is a new brewery in Packwood and would make an awesome post-elopement party location. Psst…I know of a pretty cool Mt Rainier elopement photographer who would love to document your day…just saying (lol). But, truly, hiring the right elopement photographer is a really important step in your Little Owl Cabin wedding planning process! Meet your cabin elopement photographer

I feel most at home outdoors, so it is no surprise that is where I gravitate towards as an Washington elopement photographer. In college, I was known as the “granola girl” because my outfits were always fit to go to class or hiking (not that I ever skipped class to go to the mountains, lol).
