We can’t help but agree.
(yes, we're biased.)
(And if you saw the locations in these images and thought “but I want more than one of those”? We have good news: you can explore more than one, often in a single day—or you can do a two-day elopement.)
Better yet, nearly everything lies within an hour or two of Seattle—and many of our public lands are ADA-accessible, so that anyone can take in the views.
Whatever backdrop you’re envisioning for your elopement, Washington likely has it.
There’s something for literally everyone in Washington.
Why get married here?
"Our photos are like a fairytale. People can hardly believe they’re real and not photoshopped!"

You Can Count On Us:
Between the Pine was founded in Washington, and it’s our home base to this day. In fact, several of our photographers live here.
We don’t just photograph here, we live here.
Why between the pine?
Our team has photographed over [xxx] weddings in Washington, which means we know a thing or two. Like which national parks are the most accessible if hiking isn’t in the cards, how to transform a rainy day into stunning elopement photos, or even where to grab the best cinnamon rolls in town the morning after your elopement.
As your Washington elopement photographer, we’re there to support you through the planning process—and then bring the positive energy (and the snacks) on your wedding day itself.
We'll pinpoint the perfect location for you, your partner & your guests, even if you’ve never once set foot in Washington
We have backup plans on top of backup plans (we’ve re-planned entire elopements in just a few weeks when Mother Nature demanded it)
We'll walk you through how to apply for a Washington marriage license—and a permit if you’re getting married on public lands
We share recommendations for literally anything you need—a florist who sources everything locally? Check. A gluten-free baker? Check. An ADA-accessible lodge? Check.
We'll you a packing list, tie your bouquet to the strap of your backpack, and even pass out cookies before you can get hangry
We know the perfect spot…
WHERE SHOULD YOU HAVE YOUR WASHINGTON ELOPEMENT?
"Can I go higher than 5 stars? What can I say -- Between the Pine is AMAZING. We had an unforgettable day and the entire process of planning and preparing was top-notch"

Mollie
We don’t just photograph here—we live here
After developing a taste for hiking in the Ozarks, Mollie followed her love of adventure to Washington, where she founded Between the Pine in 2018. She’s an avid gardener, and her chocolate-chip cookies are the stuff of legend.
The unhurried pace of an elopement allows you to truly soak in the moments that matter most to you, whether that’s popping champagne atop a mountain or taking a minute to cuddle your pup.
An elopement photographer for over 10 years as well as an avid hiker and rock climber, Megan landed in Washington in 2016. She connects deeply with nature and relishes the chance to help her couples do the same. When she’s not on the trails, she likely has a nice hot cup of tea by her side.
There truly is a location option for every couple and their unique vision. You can experience a little bit of everything with some hiking boots, a backpack and car!
A self-described “PNW stan,” Devin’s been photographing elopements for over 5 years, and she loves bringing a cinematic feel to her work. She can definitely beat you in a game of UNO, and if you need someone to teach all your guests the moves to a song, she’s your girl.
Have you been here? Where else can you find oceans, alpine lakes, endless mountains, desert and rainforest?
Our resident Olympic National Park expert, Amy relocated to the area so she could indulge in her two favorite pastimes: snowboarding and surfing. She’s photographed over 150 weddings and elopements in Washington. In college, she was a baton twirler at the University of Washington (and yes, she can twirl fire).
We actually get to utilize the most gorgeous parts of the day: golden hour, blue hour, and starlight. You can’t do that at a wedding with a big reception in the evening
Born and raised in Washington, Kass started out as a guide for backpacking, climbing & hiking trips, then gradually made her way to photography. She currently lives in the North Cascades but has been known to head out for months-long van trips.
It’s so diverse in its landscape! Not many people think of the high desert or mesas when they think of Washington, but it has all that and the alpine landscapes that usually come to mind.
