Rain or shine, when you plan a Pacific Northwest elopement in Snoqualmie, you’re pretty much guaranteed to have an incredible experience! For their special day, Morgan and Pancho got the best of everything. From a beautiful sunrise in a special location to moody skies and a celebration meal with their loved ones, their day was filled with magic. Keep scrolling to learn more about this incredible couple as well as our top tips for planning a Pacific Northwest elopement (specifically in the Snoqualmie area).
Meet Morgan & Pancho: The Couple of This Pacific Northwest Elopement
Morgan and Pancho wanted two things for their Pacific Northwest elopement – beautiful mountain trails and a day surrounded by their favorite people. The couple (who used to live in the PNW, but now live in Texas) traveled all the way to Washington for their best day ever. Because of how much this area means to them, it was really important that they got to share it with family and friends.
Their elopement day kicked off during the early morning hours at a scenic lake with the most insane pink sunrise (and yes, they brought their family and friends along so everyone else got to experience it as well)! After their morning adventure session, everyone headed back to the cabin to take a little rest before transitioning to the second half of their day. During this time Mother Nature decided to shower down a little rain brining overcast skies along with it, but literally nothing could bring these Morgan and Pancho down. They were just so happy and excited to be getting married!
In the afternoon, the couple got ready at their cabin and did a first look with each other before taking a shuttle with their guests to a picnic area for a celebratory meal catered by none other than Miere Catering. We absolutely love this picnic area for elopement celebrations with guests as it is located in an old-growth forest (which we love) and offers a pavilion to shelter from the weather.
After the meal, Morgan and Pancho laced up their hiking boots for an adventure. The original hike they had planned was in Snoqualmie Pass, but the rain and clouds had moved into that location, leaving very little visibility. Luckily, Kass knows this area super well and made the decision to explore a hike in Snoqualmie Valley where there was no rain. There, Morgan and Pancho got to exchange private vows with each other while also getting the overlook all to themselves for the whole evening (talk about magical)!
Three Reasons We Love Snoqualmie for Pacific Northwest Elopements
It’s no secret that we love the Snoqualmie area, but here are a few reasons we think it’s a great location for your Pacific Northwest elopement:
Our Cabin
Did you know that we have a cabin in Snoqualmie Valley that we designed specifically for our couples? Yup, it’s true! Stay Between the Pine is the perfect place to hold your Airbnb wedding. Whether you want to stay there with just you and your person, or you want to host a meal with all your favorite people in our back glass room, our cabin is beautiful and peaceful place to retreat for your Pacific Northwest elopement. And, since we only allow elopements here when we a member from our team is the photographer, you’ll get someone who knows this area (and this cabin) like the back of our hand.

Accessible All Year
Not many places can boast year-round accessibility, but Snoqualmie can, and that is just another one of the many reasons we love this area so much! In the wintertime, you can get snow free trails in the valley and then drive just 20 minutes to a winter wonderland up at the pass. Spring, summer, and fall offer lots of flexibility and snow free trails in both Snoqualmie Valley and Snoqualmie Pass, making this area accessible all year round.
The best part about eloping in Snoqualmie is that while other areas have grown in popularity, this area remains a hidden gem. You can still get the same incredible mountain view for your Pacific Northwest elopement, just without the crowds, which we love!
Weather Proof
We know what you’re thinking. “How can an area be weather proof?” The thing about Snoqualmie is that rain or shine, this area delivers! It has rivers, waterfalls, old-growth forests, mountain views, picnic areas, beautiful A-frame cabins – truly, it has it all. So even if it ends up raining on your day, you can easily shift to another location and still have the best experience. Don’t just take our word for it though. Below, we’ve linked up a few examples of Snoqualmie elopements in all types of weather so you can see for yourself!
