Deconstructed Chicken Burger

I’m keeping it simple this week with a new favorite in the Adam’s household. These are perfect for meal prep for the week and keep well in the fridge. Also, they are quick to make and easy on the wallet (praises).

Deconstructed Chicken Burgers


  • 1 lb ground chicken

  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs

  • 1/2 yellow onion, diced

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp chili powder

  • s&p

  • 1/2 cup chicken broth (optional)

  • 1 handful of arugula (per burger)

  • 1/3 cup mayo

  • 2 tsp sriracha (or more to make it spicier!)


  • combine ground chicken, bread crumbs, onion, garlic powder, chili powder, and s&p together in a large bowl.
  • form patties (it should make 5-7 patties)

  • on medium heat, cook each chicken pattie until cooked through. for more flavor, allow burgers to cook/simmer in chicken broth

  • for sriracha mayo, simply combine mayo and sriracha

  • for assembly: handful of arugula + chicken pattie + sriracha mayo on top. enjoy!
